A Ring That Gives Back: Cullen Marks the Otis Foundation’s 25th Anniversary
— by Cullen Jewellery — Reading time 3 minutes
Every day at Cullen, we’re fortunate enough to craft unique lab grown jewellery that blends heritage techniques with contemporary design, responsibly. We’re also incredibly lucky as a brand to have the opportunity to support ongoing community impact. Giving back is central to who we are, and we’re extremely grateful that we can. In our eyes, jewellery should not only be designed to endure a lifetime, witness to life’s biggest moments, and be passed through generations – it should also serve a greater purpose.

Partnering with The Otis Foundation
Since 2022, Cullen has proudly supported The Otis Foundation, a national not-for-profit based in Bendigo that provides free retreat stays to individuals and families facing the challenges of breast cancer. Their work is about creating moments of peace, rest, and connection during one of life’s most difficult journeys. Since inception, they’ve supported over 15,000 guests. This partnership felt like a natural fit for us, given The Otis Foundation is aligned with our values of care, compassion, and community impact. We’re proud to support them in their mission to nurture families affected by breast cancer. As Cullen founder Jordan explains, “We believe in shining a light during dark times, and supporting The Otis Foundation means offering the gift of time, comfort and hope to those who need it most.”

Where craft meets cause
Each year, Cullen creates and donates a one-of-a-kind piece for The Otis Foundation, with proceeds helping to support hundreds of family retreats and getaways across Australia. This year, to celebrate The Otis Foundation’s 25th Anniversary, we’ve gone bigger and more brilliant than ever.

This year’s ring
Cullen’s master jewellers have crafted an exceptional diamond ring valued at $25,000. The stunning lab grown centre stone is an elongated cushion, accompanied by 25 pink pavé stones to mark the milestone for the national not-for-profit. This striking ring also features a unique ‘ribbon’ detail wrapped around the setting, symbolising the breast cancer pink ribbon symbol.

From behind the jewellery bench
Cullen Gem Setter Christian is proud to have designed this unique ring, and shares his thoughts on the process and what it means to support an organisation like The Otis Foundation.

An enduring commitment to ongoing community support
At Cullen, our craft has always been about more than creating responsible pieces – it’s about using our artistry to make a meaningful difference. As we look ahead, we’re proud to continue our partnership with The Otis Foundation and encourage our community to join us in celebrating their milestone. Together, we can ensure that the brilliance we create doesn’t just live in the jewellery we design, but also in the lives we touch.
